This post is short one, but it gives lots to think about.
Thanksgiving is not
celebrate around the world. That was
news to the kids. With the info why,
they got it. It is an American
"holiday". It started them
to think deeper on what would be different if the events of separation from Great Britain did not happen.
Freedom of religion
would not be for starters & the Fourth of July would not even be on the
calendar. Thanksgiving dinner not
happening either. So how would your life
be different? What impact would it have
on your life? Does it make your list to
be thankful for even longer? Did ours. Yes, we are grateful for all that we have
& all who are in our lives. But the
stuff like freedom of religion, freedom from a lot of things & the rights
we have as a free country, you can't touch the gratitude we have for it all.
