Priority, what are yours?

Priority, what are yours?  Do you have a list of them?  Are they in order?    Here's a definition from the Merriam-Webster Dictionary,https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/priority,

1. 1a (1) :  the quality or state of being prior (2) :  precedence in date or position of publication —used of taxab (1) :  superiority in rank, position, or privilege (2) :  legal precedence in exercise of rights over the same subject matter
2. 2 :  a preferential rating; especially :  one that allocates rights to goods and services usually in limited supply that project has top priority
3. 3 :  something given or meriting attention before competing alternatives

In Luke 10:38-42, shows two different people with two different priorities.   Which one are you?

At the Home of Martha and Mary

^" As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him.  She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.  But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things,  but few things are needed—or indeed only one.  Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

Mary is choosing better things.   Martha is wrapped up in deeds & works.  Martha is forgetting what is truly important.  Her priority is not set right.  

In Proverbs 3:6 tells us to turn everything to God.

^" in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight."

One reason why we do not turn everything over to God, is our insecurities.  Our insecurities leads to a lack of trust, which stands in the way of God & us.   When we have our priorities in the right order things move with a flow.  The running to put out all the fires that pop up all the time & you can't get anything done or think straight will stop.
